HAPPY NEW YEAR

a religious festival called Akitu celebrating the mythical victory of the Babylonian sky god Marduk over the evil sea goddess Tiamat.

If you’re being silent about all the blatant hypocrisy in Christianity you are part of the problem, silence is compliance.

Did you know the celebration of the Gregorian New Year, as marked on January 1st, is never mentioned in the Hebrew ToRaH. Every English bible is a heavily, translated and extremely watered down westernized version of the melanated Middle Eastern Hebrew people's history and culture? If we aren’t willing to have an open mind, take an emotional step back, and look at the scriptures from the perspective of the Hebrew people, because of the conditioned western mindset the Hebrew script is vastly misinterpreted. This simple oversight has caused the masses to believe in false ideologies, false names, false images, false prophets, false symbols / customs, and unapproved ways of worshipping the Creator (traditions of men) that was NEVER commanded by the Heavenly Father and NEVER originated with His people (the Hebrews) of the bible. With this said, it’s NO secret that the New Testament has several profound contradictions to the Old Testament (roughly 400,000 scribal errors), and the religion of Christianity depends solely on the Old Testament.

Since we know the Ancient Hebrews in the Old Testament were NEVER commanded by YaHuWaH to have a religion or to worship the Creator by way of pagan customs / holidays, images of men, statues, symbols or idols in the likeness of anyone or anything. Deep unbiased research educates us with various overwhelming facts revealing that Christianity NEVER had a leg to stand on. Historical research uncovers that the pagan Roman Catholic Church birthed (at the Council of Nicaea) many various flavors of their solar / sun worshiping religion (Astrolatry, based on the movement of the sun and stars). With 200 Christian variants / denominations in the U.S. alone and a staggering 45,000 world wide, its no wonder why this very popular, enabling, emotion driven and truth compromising facet of their pagan religion still dominates today. This is why history records many other cultures having various God and or saviors / Christs that were also demigods (humans born from the conception of a God and a mortal), sound familiar (European Jesus). Talk is cheap and many Christians say they love and serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob but when put to the test they proudly reject YaHuWaH who is in FACT the ALuWaH of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (the Hebrews) of the bible.

For those who are NOT trying to live a QaDaSh (set apart) life according to the Hebraic script and unto the Creator this is NOT for you, but for those who are willing to give it ALL up for the Heavenly Father YaHuWaH (the true name of the Creator), this WILL hit home! People worship what they know not and end up worshiping the creation (traditions of men) over the Creator. So many people eagerly compromise what is right for temporal selfish gain or to please others on this earth, rather than prepare for eternity. YaShAYaHuW 5:2-24 (Isaiah) warns against us calling evil good, and calling good evil. Once you are exposed to the true origins of this wicked pagan holiday, and you still choose evil over good, you then have to deal with YaHuWaH (BaT DaBaR 25:4 “2 Chronicles”, DaBaRiYM 24:16 “Deuteronomy” and BaT ALuWHiYM 14:6 “2 Kings”)

BaT ALuWHiYM 17:29 “2 Kings”

29 Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt.

LuWiYM 18:24-27 “Leviticus”

24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these ABOMINATIONS; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

27 (For all these ABOMINATIONS have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)

YaRaMiYaHuW10:2 “Jeremiah “

1 Hear ye the word which YaHuWaH speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

Thus saith YaHuWaH, Learn NOT the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

BaT ALuWHiYM 17:8 “2 Kings”

And walked in the statutes of the heathen, whom YaHuWaH cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made.

Honestly, the subject or debate over who should take part in New Year (or any pagan holiday) can really be determined in 5 minutes. It all depends if an individual is 1) trying to live a lifestyle that’s pleasing unto YaHuWaH (in accordance with the His word in the script), or 2) please themselves, other people, or materialist desires OVER the Creator’s commands which is idol worship (ShaMuWTh 20:3-5 “Exodus”, Ezekiel 14:1-5, LuWiYM 19:4, 26:1, 26:30 “Leviticus”, DaBaRiYM 19:17 "Deuteronomy", ALuWHiYM 1:21-26 “Kings”, BaT ALuWHiYM 17:12 “2 kings”, ZaMaR 97:7, 115:4 "Psalms", YaShAYaHuW 2:8 "Isaiah").

After many years of dedicated unbiased research in reading the Creator’s commands (Old Testament), the purpose of this information is to be a starting point or stepping stone for everyone beginning their journey down the path of truth. We DON’T claim to know everything but as we humbly make time for YaHuWaH, we grow and will be guided by the word of the Creator (found in the Hebrew scriptures). Always do your OWN unbiased research and validate everything EVERYONE says. Deny the urge to react in emotion, but instead, challenge the truth by doing your OWN unbiased research and finding out the FACTS for yourself. It’s ok to disagree with something, but using one’s opinion or emotion to dispute FACT is futile.

The same premises pertains to the ABaRiY (aka Hebrew) scriptures, and if you attempt to overstand Eastern Hebraic culture using our conditioned, Christian westernized mindset, most will lean toward their OWN understanding because it FEELS right to THEM (MaShaL 3:5-6 “Proverbs”)! When we fail to make time to learn the foundational lessons of ABa YaHuWaH (by way of humility, prayer, studying the pure Hebraic scriptural truth, and being willing to unlearn passed-down lies) we can unknowingly blaspheme the truth and claim ALuWaH (the “Mighty one” but in English translated to the generic title “God”) is co-signing on OUR opinions and emotions. In regards to the Hebrew script, when someone’s opinion is backed by the word of YaHuWaH, it’s NO LONGER opinion but FACT! If YaHuWaH said it or did it, who are we to dispute it (YaShAYaHuW 55:8-13 “Isaiah”)? You have to use and explain scripture if you are disagreeing with YaHuWaH’s word and not opinion or emotion.

The ToRaH (or what Christians call the Old Testament) is a Hebrew book about melanated Israelite culture (NOT European or Latin). Their story was then heavily translated by the pagan Roman Catholic Empire into what the world now knows as the bible or Christian New Testament. These disoriented alterations were done to fit THEIR pagan narrative and THEIR created organized religion called Christianity (in 325 AD). These decreed pagan ideologies and traditions were then forced on various Roman conquered races establishing THEIR religion as a worldwide superpower.

This perpetuated illusory truth effect subliminal brainwashing has ultimately deceived the whole world into falling in love with lies. We know YaHuWaH created good and evil (YaShAYaHuW 45:7-9 “Isaiah”), and these allowed deceptions test people’s love and loyalty for the Creator (ZaMaR 11:5-6 and 81:8-12 “Psalms”). The fact that the Creator tests the heart is hardly ever taught in Christianity, why? Because THEIR pagan religion teaches that a person had already died for them, and is sitting on the right hand of YaHuWaH forever pardoning their intentional disobedience (Acts 2:33 and Luke 22:69). This is again in direct rebellion against YaHuWaH’s word.

YaShAYaHuW 43:10-11 “Isaiah”

10 Ye are my witnesses, saith YaHuWaH, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was NO ALuWaH formed, neither shall there be after me.

11 I, even I, am YaHuWaH; and beside me there is NO SAVIOUR.

YaShAYaHuW 45:5 “Isaiah”

5 I am YaHuWaH, and there is NONE else, there is NO God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is NONE beside me. I am YaHuWaH, and there is NONE else.

YaShAYaHuW 45:18-19 “Isaiah” (Hebrew ThaNaK)

18 For thus said YaHuWaH the Creator of heaven who ALONE is ALuWaH, who formed earth and made it, who ALONE established it, He did not created it a waste, but formed it for habitation: I am YaHuWaH, and there is NONE ELSE.

When reading DaBaRiYM 13:4 (Deuteronomy) in the pure Hebrew script, we can clearly see the Creator’s true name יהוה (YaHuWaH) on the right (NOT LORD). Not only does this remove the confusion surrounding the Creator’s true set-apart name, we see with our own eyes that in fact, YaHuWaH allows this deception to take place to see if we truly love Him or not! Furthermore in verse 5 YaHuWaH commands that we follow, revere, and worship NO ONE ELSE but Him. We are to observe His commandments and are to heed only His orders (NOT a Christian New Testament savior). The Creator says NOTHING about obeying, severing, and worshiping a demigod that would be born of a virgin, die, and raise back up again in three days to receive forgiveness or salvation from sins or captivity. These types of mythological beliefs not only 100% contradict the Creator’s words in the Hebrew Old Testament, but they also come from a long line of pagan Roman / Greek cultural beliefs.

This is why when you make time to do unbiased study and research on the bible, the FACTS reveal that several English words used throughout the bible have pagan connotations to various gods (theLORD, God, Christ, Jesus, glory just to name a few). This makes perfect sense since we know the Roman Catholic Empire was a polycystic race of people. It DOESN’T take a quantum physicist to understand that when words (or names) are translated from one language to another, things get lost and things are added. The Scriptures have been translated (not transliterated which is the casing of sound) from the Hebrew language into English, thus the pure meaning behind the Hebrew words and names has been erased. This is a violation of the scripture which clearly warns against doing, and rightfully so. Altering the history of a race of people now removes the truth of that culture and adds in lies/false narratives (DaBaRiYM 4:2 and 12:32 "Deuteronomy"). Just because people live in America and speak English (or live in any other part of the world and speak different languages) DOES NOT give people a right to discard, alter or disrespect a Hebraic nation’s original cultural history (or any cultural history at that)!

Scripture reminds us in MaShaL 4:7 (Proverbs) that we must FIRST get an understanding (make time to research all sides of any story) and that a fool has no interest in understanding; they only want to hear their own opinions come out of other peoples mouth (MaShaL 18:2-3 “Proverb”). Once we are shown the scriptural truths and turn from our disobedience YaHuWaH is waiting to pardon our sins, IF we really love him MORE than ourselves (YaShAYaHuW 55:7 “Isaiah” and BaT DaBaR 7:14 “2 Chronicles“). The highest form of ignorance is rejecting or responding to information you have absolutely NO knowledge or research about while in emotion. MaShaL 10:19 and 14:17 (Proverbs) give wisdom on making quick emotional responses, and this also pertains to information that may seem unpopular to the masses or that you DON’T personally agree with.

Scriptures remind us that is it foolish to respond to a matter without FULLY hearing (MaShaL 18:12-15 “Proverbs”). Choosing to put a puzzle together without having all pieces would be unwise, why? Because it yields incorrect perceptions of what that puzzle is REALLY supposed to look like. DON’T let ignorance, jealousy, pride, or religious upbringing be your downfall because you chose to reject the commands of YaHuWaH due to emotion, your personal desires, or passed down traditions of men (the pagan Roman Catholic / Christian church system) by way of your fathers, fathers (who were also mislead). Our duty as the elect of YaHuWaH is to share the truth, NOT make people believe it. We DON’T want you to think like us, we just want you to think!

Once we are given or read the commands of the Creator, we then have a choice. Do make the necessary changes for the Creator and obey because we love Him and that’s what He requires? Or do we continue having pleasure in what WE deem righteous because everyone else is doing it (MaShaL 12:15-28 and 21:2 “Proverbs”)?

ZaMaR 5:2-7 “Psalm” (Hebrew ThaNaK)

Give ear to my speech, O YaHuWaH, consider my utterance.

Heed the sound of my cry, my King, and ALuWaH: for I pray unto you.

Hear my voice, O YaHuWaH; at daybreak; at daybreak I plead before you, and wait.

For you are not a ALuWaH who desires wickedness: evil cannot abide with you.

wanton men cannot endure in your sight: you detest evildoers;

7 You doom those who speak lies; murderous; deceitful men YaHuWaH abhors.

Never do we read in scripture where the Hebrew people or even Jesus was instructed by YaHuWaH to take part in any pagan event celebrating the coming of a new year. The Hebrews in ancient times knew these pagan traditions were NOT instructed by YaHuWaH, and we who love the Creator in modern times, follow suit.

- SPIRITUAL ADULTERY -

Tradition has conditioned us all, leading to beliefs in things we may not fully comprehend. Do not allow ignorance, arrogance, or adherence to traditions to impede your pursuit of truth. It's time to cease betraying the Heavenly Father and instead return to Him with faithfulness. Remember, for evil to prevail, all that is necessary is for good individuals to do nothing!

NEW YEARS ORIGINS ARE NOT HEBREW

The Hebrew ToRaH, which consists of the first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy), never commands the Israelites to practice praying in the new year as observed in most Christian churches. Celebrating the new year with specific prayers and rituals is not a prominent feature in the ToRaH.

For over four millennia, civilizations worldwide have marked the commencement of each new year. In contemporary times, the majority of New Year's celebrations initiate on December 31 (New Year's Eve), the concluding day of the Gregorian calendar, and extend into the early hours of January 1 (New Year's Day). Typical customs encompass attending gatherings, indulging in special New Year's foods, formulating resolutions for the upcoming year, and witnessing fireworks displays. Many ancient civilizations had rituals and practices associated with the observance of the new year, often involving prayers and ceremonies dedicated to their gods.

  1. Ancient Mesopotamia: The Babylonians celebrated Akitu, their new year festival, with elaborate ceremonies, processions, and prayers to their chief god, Marduk. This festival involved the reenactment of the divine struggle between Marduk and the chaos monster Tiamat.

  2. Ancient Egypt: The ancient Egyptians celebrated their new year during the flooding of the Nile, which marked the beginning of their agricultural calendar. They offered prayers and performed rituals to ensure a good harvest, often invoking the protection of gods like Osiris.

  3. Ancient Rome: The Romans celebrated the festival of Janus, the god of beginnings and transitions, during the month of January. Janus was believed to have two faces, one looking to the past and the other to the future, symbolizing transitions and new beginnings.

  4. Ancient China: The Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is one of the most important traditional Chinese celebrations. It involves prayers to deities for good fortune, prosperity, and protection against evil spirits. The festival is marked with various rituals and ceremonies.

  5. Ancient Greece: The ancient Greeks had various regional celebrations for the new year. For example, in Athens, the festival of the Apaturia included prayers and sacrifices to honor family ancestors and the gods.

These examples highlight the widespread practice of praying to deities during the new year in different ancient civilizations, each with its unique rituals and cultural significance. The origins of such celebrations trace back about 2,000 years to ancient Babylonians and Greeks. However, delving into the Hebrew origins reveals no record of this cultural practice. If Christians claim to adhere to the commandments of the Creator, yet their actions lack endorsement in the Hebrew ToRaH, caution is warranted, as the Creator expressly discourages such additions (Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32, and Proverbs 30:5-6). As the chosen of YaHuWaH, participating in pagan traditions or worship contradicts our calling to be set apart (Leviticus 18:24-30, Ezra 6:21, and Jeremiah 10:2).

YaShAYaHuW 52:11”Isaiah”

11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of YaHuWaH.

AZRaH 6:21”Ezra” (Hebrew ToRaH)

21 The children of Israel had returned from the exile, together with all who joined with them in separating themselves from the uncleanness of the nations of the land to worship YaHuWaH ALuWaH of YiSRAL.

ITS NOT IN THE SCRIPT

Sadly, Christians will proudly take part in yet another pagan holiday that gives honor to a false idol, while claiming that they absolutely love the Heavenly Father and Creator. When the truth about these pagan holidays is revealed to a person and they choose to reject it, it now becomes all about what THEY want, and what THEY like to do and NOT what the Creator (who gave us life) wants.

The wicked pagan holidays in ancient times were all just excuses for the masses to gather and party, have sex and to give thanks to false idols / gods. The same things is happening today, churches use the excuse that taking part in pagan holidays is OK because they have Christianized it. Like we have said before, Christianity at its core is a pagan religion, so you CANT Christianize something that is already pagan!

Further more churches are reluctant to teach the truth and absolutely REFUSE to give honor and esteem unto the true name of the Creator YaHuWaH (MaLAKiY 2:2 “Malachi”). Once again we NEVER read in scripture where the ABaRiY (aka Hebrew) people or European Jesus ever took part in these traditions of partying in the new year. Sadly Churches and Christian families all over the world compromise and have New Years Eve services in a false name, just like the pagan masses did in ancient times, again where is the separation?

Talk is cheap and many Christians say they love and serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob but when put to the test they proudly reject YaHuWaH who is in FACT the ALuWaH of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (the Hebrews) of the bible. The hard truth is that you will RARELY see a separation because again the Christian religion’s core is PAGAN. Until people begin challenging (inquiring not being rude) their pastors regarding the truth of what’s being taught, they WILL continue to disobey YaHuWaH. Almost everything that is taking place in these mega and local churches are against YaHuWaHs word.

Everyone has the free will to do whatever they want regarding these pagan holidays, but just know those choices ARE being written in a book (ShaMuWTh 32:32 “Exodus”, MaLaKiY 3:16 “Malachi” and ZaMaR 69:27-28 “Psalm”). YaHuWaH will NEVER force anyone to love or obey him, but for those that ARE in the truth; you know this is second nature. People often say that celebrating new years (or any pagan holiday in general) is just harmless fun, time with family and that it’s NOT hurting anyone; but this if FAR from the truth. For 1) they are unknowingly hurting themselves via their spirit 2) if they have kids they are hurting them because their disobedience and lies continues on down to them, which they repeat and last but certainly NOT least 3) they are hurting the heart of Heavenly Father YaHuWaH and breaking the first commandment (ShaMuWTh 20:3-5 “Exodus”).

How is celebrating New Years breaking the first commandment you might ask? When you choose to set YaHuWaHs commandments to the side or give into per pressure to celebrate pagan traditions of men, all in order to spare the feelings / emotion of someone else, that person just became your god. Simply put, if you truly love the Heavenly Father you wont cheat on him with other gods (DaBaRiYM 8:6, 13:4 “Deuteronomy” and MaShaL 19:16 “Proverbs”).

YaHuWShuWA 22:5 “Joshua”

But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of YaHuWaH charged you, to love YaHuWaH your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

LuWiYM 22:31”Leviticus”

31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am YaHuWaH.

MaShaL 19:16 “Proverbs”

16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.

DaBaRiYM 8:6 “Deuteronomy”

Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

DaBaRiYM 13:4

Ye shall walk after YaHuWaH your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

HISTORICAL FACTS

Take a look at this information we dug up and researched in libraries, maybe this factual data will help open peoples eyes as to what "New Years" is really all about. When it comes to celebrating these 100% proven pagan holidays, the big question to those who say they love the Creator with ALL their heart should be this, "Would the Heavenly Father be OK with me taking part in this, NOW that I know what the truth is?"

JANUS DEFINITION

janus_dic.JPG

ETYMOLOGY WORD ORIGIN

janus.jpg

January is named after Janus, the Roman god of doorways, beginnings and endings. According to Roman mythology, Janus, an ancient king of Italy, was the son of Apollo and Creusa. This two faced god was second only to Jupiter and his name was the first invoked in all religious ceremonies.

ENCYCLOPEDIA 1917

The earliest known record of a New Year festival dates from about 2000 bce in Mesopotamia, where in Babylonia the new year (Akitu) began with the new moon after the spring equinox (mid-March) and in Assyria with the new moon nearest the autumn equinox (mid-September). For the Egyptians, Phoenicians, and Persians the year began with the autumn equinox (September 21), and for the early Greeks it began with the winter solstice (December 21). On the Roman republican calendar the year began on March 1, but after 153 bce the official date was January 1, which was continued in the Julian calendar of 46 bce. Many of the customs of New Year festivals note the passing of time with both regret and anticipation. The baby as a symbol of the new year dates to the ancient Greeks, with an old man representing the year that has passed. The Romans derived the name for the month of January from their god Janus, who had two faces, one looking backward and the other forward.

The practice of making resolutions to rid oneself of bad habits and to adopt better ones also dates to ancient times. For the Babylonians, the first new moon following the vernal equinox—the day in late March with an equal amount of sunlight and darkness—heralded the start of a new year. They marked the occasion with a massive religious festival called Akitu (derived from the Sumerian word for barley, which was cut in the spring) that involved a different ritual on each of its 11 days. In addition to the new year, Atiku celebrated the mythical victory of the Babylonian sky god Marduk over the evil sea goddess Tiamat and served an important political purpose: It was during this time that a new king was crowned or that the current ruler’s divine mandate was symbolically renewed.

Janus The Roman God of Passage, of Doorways (januae), Archways (jani), and of New Beginnings and Endings

Janus The Roman God of Passage, of Doorways (januae), Archways (jani), and of New Beginnings and Endings

Throughout antiquity, civilizations around the world developed increasingly sophisticated calendars, typically pinning the first day of the year to an agricultural or astronomical event. In Egypt, for instance, the year began with the annual flooding of the Nile, which coincided with the rising of the star Sirius. The first day of the Chinese new year, meanwhile, occurred with the second new moon after the winter solstice. As part of his reform, Caesar instituted January 1 as the first day of the year, partly to honor the month’s namesake: Janus, the Roman god of beginnings, whose two faces allowed him to look back into the past and forward into the future. Romans celebrated by offering sacrifices to Janus, exchanging gifts with one another, decorating their homes with laurel branches and attending raucous parties. In medieval Europe, the early “Christians” were able to temporarily replaced January 1 due to its pagan roots, but Pope Gregory XIII reestablished January 1 as New Year’s Day in 1582.

Roman Coin of Janus

Roman Coin of Janus

Janus, among the earliest Roman deities, held the domain over beginnings and was symbolized by gates and doorways, derived from the Latin word "ianua." According to Roman mythology, Janus, the offspring of Apollo and Creusa, was an ancient king of Italy. Depicted with two faces, as seen on the aforementioned Republican coin, a silver didrachm dating from 225-12 BCE in Rome or south Italy, Janus embodies the concept of looking both backward and forward. The first month of the Julian calendar, Januarius, is named after him. Janus is also referred to as Quirinus (in homage to an early Italic god) and Geminus, signifying "twin" or "two-faced."

The worship of a two-faced deity is a concept found in various cultures throughout history. Additionally, in Hinduism, there is a deity named Ardhanarishvara, who is depicted as a composite androgynous form of the god Shiva and his consort Parvati. This deity is often represented as having a male half and a female half, symbolizing the union of masculine and feminine energies.

JULIUS CAESAR CHANGED THE CALENDAR

JULIAN CALENDAR

Introduced in 45 B.C., the reform included the addition of 67 days to bring the Roman calendar back in alignment with the solar year.

The Julian calendar was introduced in 45 B.C., and the reform included the addition of 67 days to bring the Roman calendar back in alignment with the solar year. The addition of these days was necessary because the previous Roman calendar, known as the Roman Republican calendar, had become out of sync with the solar year due to its inaccuracies in accounting for the length of a year.

To realign the calendar, Caesar added two extra months between November and December of 46 B.C., and an additional intercalary month was added in 45 B.C. These changes resulted in a year of 445 days, commonly known as the "Year of Confusion" or "Julian intercalary year." After this correction, the Julian calendar was established with a standard year length of 365 days, with a leap year occurring every four years to account for the approximately 365.25 days in a solar year.

In designing his new calendar, Caesar enlisted the aid of Sosigenes, an Alexandrian astronomer, when designing the Julian calendar. Sosigenes advised Caesar to do away with the lunar cycle and base the new calendar on the solar year. The Roman calendar at the time was based on the lunar year, which resulted in a misalignment with the seasons over time. Sosigenes recommended a calendar with a fixed year length of 365 days, divided into 12 months, with an additional day added to February every four years to account for the extra approximately 0.25 days in the solar year. This system, known as a leap year, helped to synchronize the calendar with the solar year. The Julian calendar, implemented by Caesar in 45 B.C., followed these recommendations, and it became one of the most significant reforms in the history of the calendar.

The ancient Hebrews traditionally used a lunar calendar to reckon days, months, and years. The Hebrew calendar is a lunisolar calendar, meaning it combines elements of both the lunar and solar calendars. Here are some key features of the ancient Hebrew calendar:

  1. Months: The months in the Hebrew calendar are based on the lunar cycle, with each month beginning at the sighting of the new moon. The word "chodesh" in Hebrew, often translated as "month," is directly related to the concept of the new moon.

  2. Days: The day in the Hebrew calendar is traditionally reckoned from sunset to sunset, in line with the biblical notion of a day beginning in the evening.

  3. Years: While the months are lunar-based, the Hebrew calendar also adjusts to the solar year to ensure that the festivals and agricultural seasons align with the appropriate times of the year. This adjustment involves adding an extra month (an intercalary month) seven times in a 19-year cycle, creating a somewhat "lunisolar" calendar.

These are FACTS:

  1. NEVER once in scripture do we read where the Hebrew prophets celebrated any pagan traditions of the masses.

  2. NEVER once in the Hebrew ToRaH are we commanded to celebrate New Years or ANY of the various pagan holidays of the heathen nations.

  3. We are commanded by the Creator YaHuWaH, NOT to add or remove from His word, so if its NOT in scripture we shouldn’t be adding things in to please our fleshly desires, especially when its comes to spiritual adultery (via pagan worship).

  4. YaHuWaH is a jealous ALuWaH and He HATES pagan worship because it is spiritual adultery against him.

  5. After several seasons of grace, YaHuWaH put His YiSRAL (Israel) on slave ships into captivity because of their continued pagan idol worship/holidays which is spiritual adultery.

  6. NEVER in the Hebrew ToRaH does YaHuWaH give any man, women or group of people the authority to change (add or remove) His word.

DaBaRiYM 4:2 “Deuteronomy”

2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of YaHuWaH your ALuWaH which I command you.

DaBaRiYM 12:32

32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

MaShaL 30:5-6 “Proverbs

5 Every word of ALuWaH is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

When individuals resist hearing the correction of the ToRaH and reject adherence to the Creator’s evident truth, even when it is overwhelmingly proven, the Hebrew ToRaH forewarns the consequences of such a mindset. Those who consider themselves beyond reproach persist in doing what they desire, convinced of its correctness in the eyes of the Creator. This stance is perilous (Psalms 81:11-12). We are entirely dependent on YaHuWaH, and the Creator demands respect, asserting that He alone is ALuWaH. There is no need for a mediator to approach Him, and there is no savior beside Him on the right hand. A simple plea for forgiveness, coupled with a turn from disobedience to follow His commandments, results in a swift pardon from ABa YaHuWaH.

YaShAYaHuW 44:6-8 “Isaiah” JPS (Hebrew TuWRaH)

Thus saith YaHuWaH the King of Israel, their redeemer YaHuWaH of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and there is NO God but me.

YaShAYaHuW 42:8 “Isaiah”

I am YaHuWaH: that is my NAME: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

YaShAYaHuW 48:11 ”Isaiah”

11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

HuWShuWA 13:4 “Hosea”

Yet I am YaHuWaH thy ALuWHiYM from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no ALuWaH but me: for there is NO SAVIOUR beside me.

ZaMaR 103:10-12 “Psalm”

10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

MiYKaYaHuW 7:18-19 “Micah”

18 Who is a ALuWaH like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

YaShAYaHuW 55:7 “Isaiah”

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto YaHuWaH, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our ALuWaH, for He will abundantly pardon.
